Privacy at Whet

This policy explains how Whet handles account, billing, generation, and history data for the Whet desktop app and website.

What Whet collects

  • Account information such as your email address and profile details used for sign-in.
  • Subscription and billing status from Paddle so Whet can unlock Pro features.
  • Generation requests, usage counts, and technical logs needed to run the service and prevent abuse.
  • History items only when your plan supports history and Save History is enabled.

What Whet does not do

  • Whet does not read selected text automatically from other apps.
  • Whet does not save Free account history.
  • Whet does not sell personal information.
  • Whet does not store payment card details. Paddle handles checkout and billing.

AI processing

  • Text you submit for rewriting is processed by Whet and its AI provider to generate the requested result.
  • Do not submit passwords, secrets, private keys, or sensitive information you do not want processed.

Your choices

  • Pro users can turn Save History off in the app. When off, Whet does not save new history items.
  • You can request account deletion from the Support page by choosing Account Deletion request.
  • You can manage or cancel billing from Whet account settings.
